Jennie Kim (Hangul: 김제니) was born on January 16th, 1996 at Seoul, South Korea. She is the first member that YG revealed to public, that was because she is the first member of BLACKPINK that joined YG Entertaiment. After she was born, with her family, she moved to Auckland, New Zealand. She lived and raised there until she was 14 years old. At that time, she moved to South Korea to join YG's idol audition. She was accepted to YG Entertaiment, and became the first member of BLACKPINK to do so.
